MultiPhoneCamTerms of Use

1. The App
MultiPhoneCam ("the App") lets you connect several of your own devices over a local network so that one device (the master) can view, control and record from the others (the cameras). By installing or using the App you agree to these terms.
2. Lawful use of monitoring — your responsibility
The App is a tool for recording and monitoring your own spaces and your own household with the knowledge of the people concerned — for example as a baby monitor, a home security camera, or a multi-angle recording rig.
Laws on recording video and audio of other people differ by country and can be strict, especially for audio. You are solely responsible for using the App in compliance with the laws that apply to you, including obtaining any required consent from people who may be recorded, and for informing household members, guests or employees where the law requires it. The App must not be used for covert surveillance of any person, in spaces where people expect privacy, or in any other unlawful way.
3. Not a safety-critical device
The App, including its baby monitor and CCTV modes, is a consumer software product running on general-purpose phones and networks. It can be interrupted by the operating system, battery, WiFi conditions or hardware limits. It is not a certified medical device, alarm system or life-safety product and must not be your only means of supervising a child or securing property.
4. Free version and Pro purchase
The free version is fully functional with a limited number of connected cameras and limited video clip length. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase tied to your store account (Google Play, and in the future the Apple App Store) that unlocks the full camera limit, unlimited recording length and the TV Viewer. Pro can be restored free of charge on any device signed in to the purchasing store account ("Restore purchases").
5. Refunds
In addition to the store's own refund rules, we offer this promise: if Pro does not work satisfactorily on your device, contact support@multiphonecam.com within 7 days of purchase and we will refund it — no questions asked. Statutory consumer rights in your country remain unaffected.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design, logo and this website are the property of the developer. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your devices. You may not resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the App except where the law expressly permits it.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages, lost recordings, missed events, or consequences of network or device failures. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the App evolves; the current version is always published at multiphonecam.com/terms.html. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes.
