Many camera systems depend on an online account and cloud storage. MultiPhoneCam takes a different approach: Android phones connect locally and recordings stay on the devices. That makes it suitable for users who prefer local control over their camera footage.

Use local WiFi or an offline hotspot

Your cameras can communicate through the same WiFi network. If a router is unavailable, the Master phone can create a hotspot for the camera phones. This allows temporary monitoring in places where internet access is unreliable or intentionally unavailable.

Record when something happens

CCTV mode includes motion detection and sound detection so the camera can react to activity instead of recording continuously. Interval snapshots are also available for situations where periodic visual checks are enough.
